Stay indoors, we'll provide the entertainment, says Riz Ahmed
With Covid-19 spreading fast and proving lethal, many across the globe have self-quarantined to not only stay safe but to stop the virus from spreading any further.
Dozens of artists have canceled their tours but are still doing what they do best; provide entertainment. And Riz Ahmed is no different.
The rapper, who was set to launch his Long Goodbye tour, took to Instagram to let his fans and followers know that he is still ready to provide entertainment, just with a twist.
"The Long Goodbye tour is turning into the Long Lockdown Festival," said Riz.
"We want to encourage you to still stay at home though so what we're going to do is, we're going to provide you with some entertainment."
The Long Lockdown Festival will kick off on Monday with a live viewing of 2010's Four Lions - which turns ten this year - with commentary. The festival also includes the release of a new music video and a live discussion with Hasan Minhaj.
Riz ended his note repeating, "Stay indoors, we'll provide the entertainment."
