Sania Maskatiya is heading to New York Fashion Week once again
Designer Sania Maskatiya will be heading to New York Fashion Week (NYFW) once again.
The label, which made its NYFW debut in 2018, will be presenting their Resort 2020 collection as part of The Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers’ (CAAFD) showcase.
Comfortable and chic, the line epitomises Maskatiya's signature femininity in both versatility and verve. Featuring breezy hand-woven fabrics, delicately cut and layered, embroidered with geometric and pastoral motifs, it lends ‘white-on-white’ a freshly fanciful energy.
Speaking to Images, the brand shared, "We want to use the CAAFD NYFW platform to speak of our country’s powerful sense of promise. The fashion industry in Pakistan has been burgeoning this decade; we have a rich textile heritage and its evident in the Pakistani fashion industry. And we at Sania Maskatiya are known for doing everything in-house and creating bespoke fabrics and prints."

NYFW F/W 2020 is scheduled to take place from the 5-12 February 2020.
