Colin Farrell confirmed as Penguin in upcoming Batman movie
The upcoming Batman movie has our attention with its interesting cast and now there's another addition to the roster that has us going 'hmm...'
Colin Farrell has hopped on board Matte Reeves' The Batman and is confirmed to play Penguin.
The film already has Robert Pattinson on board to play the Dark Knight, a decision many were skeptical about but many turned around to. He definitely has potential to play Bruce Wayne and we're fascinated with how the film will pan out.
Farrell is an unusual option for Oswald Cobblepot but that has us interested in how the film will go about the character and how much input the VFX department will have. Previously Danny Devito took on the role in 1992's Batman Returns.
The cast also includes John Turturro as the crime boss Carmine Falcone, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle aka. Catwoman, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.
The Batman releases June 25, 2021.
