Kaaf Kangana's item number might be my first and last, says Neelam Muneer

Kaaf Kangana's item number might be my first and last, says Neelam Muneer

The actor claims she only did 'Khabon Mein' because it's an ISPR movie. And what have you done for your country lately?

Neelum Muneer is making an appearance in a film after 2017's Chupan Chupai.

The actor's dance track for upcoming film Kaaf Kangana - yes, this one - came out over the weekend and it's...there.

Composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, Aima Baig lent her vocals to the rather creepy song. Sure, 'Khabon Main' has a catchy beat and decent melody but those lyrics are just ridiculous (*Eik toh kam**na mujhe ghar lay gaya, ghar main gaye toh wahaan koi nahi tha. Baaton main aakar baatain maan gayi re*. Like, seriously, not cool.). Oh well.

Neelum posted the song on Monday with a note defending her move to perform an 'item song' and declaring it a one-time thing.

"I did this song only because this movie is a project of ISPR. Perhaps this is the first and last item song of my life. But you all know that what ever I do, I own it and I do it with pride. Pakistan key liay meri jan hamesha hazir hay. I'm sure you all will go and watch this movie. Enjoy."

Directed and written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Kaaf Kangana starring Sami Khan, Eshal Fayyaz and Ayesha Omar among others is set to release on October 25.
