5 local brands Kate Middleton put the spotlight on during her Pakistan tour

During her five-day visit, the Duchess of Cambridge wore Maheen Khan, Elan, Zeen Woman and more.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently on their way to Islamabad for the fifth and final day of the royal visit to Pakistan.

During their time here, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did all kinds of activities and trips; from playing some cricket at the National Academy of Cricket in Lahore to schmoozing with our biggest celebrities, the duo had a very busy few days. And while William mostly wore pants and a button down, he did rock a sherwani by Nauman Arfeen for the reception dinner.

More: Kate Middleton wore earrings from Pakistani brand Zeen and they sold out in minutes

The Duchess has always been a thoughtful sartorial queen and wore a lot of Pakistani labels (and British designer Catherine Walker!) while she was in our country. Here's 5 brands that have gotten the Middleton seal of approval:

Zeen

Clearly, Zeen Woman by Cambridge is one of her favourite brands. Even during a meeting with Prince Aga Khan in London before her Pakistan tour, she wore ceramic earrings by Zeen. And on the royal visit, she's worn other earrings by the brand and also a clutch.

Bonanza Satrangi

While meeting the Prime Minister Imran Khan, Kate rocked a scarf from Bonanza.

Ideas Pret

The Duchess wore a self-embroidered ivory ensemble by Gul Ahmed's Ideas Pret keeping it super simple and chic with minimal accessories.

Elan

For her last day, Middleton was spotted in a white Elan bespoke number with black thread embroidery. Personally our favourite look.

Maheen Khan

Maheen Khan was clearly a winner. She wore 2 outfits by the designer and also a pair of white pants that she had paired with her green Catherine Walker trenchcoat meets tunic.

this shows our culture as strong values in mind of world rulers .....so we need to promote local dress styles as chosen by Kate... more than copying western outfits....@rakrl

@rakrl It's nice to have a variety of styles from which to choose - why should everyone wear the same type of clothing? If the style, design and colour suit you , complement your features and are comfortable, you will look great, be it European or Eastern wear.

splendid display of Pakistani Culture . The dresses she wore by Bonanza and Maheen Khan were definitely speaking themselves of their quality and class. and in that two Maheen khan just rocked the entire wardrobe of the Duchess with all the accessories in the designs. Just glad how our Pak designers are giving competition to the international market with the power of attraction and zest.
