Advocate of sustainable fashion or not, it's always a good idea to know different ways to style your wardrobe essentials. And Mahira Khan agrees.

Our sartorial eye caught her wearing a black, bishop-sleeved button down for promotions of her upcoming movie, Superstar two ways and she really did show us how it's done.

Gear up, here come some style lessons:

You're a cheetah

She donned this fusion look for the first part of the day. The major star of this outfit was the cheetah-printed Zaha drape which served as a sari.

The make-up was kept minimal with almost no loud jewellery (except for some Louis Vuitton chunky hoops) to keep all eyes on the outfit only.

Back to basics

As Mahira's IG post caption, when in doubt, wear a black shirt and blue jeans

Same day, another look. And dare we mention, same top too! Khan's second look was the black blouse paired with faded boot-cut jeans with no visible change in accessories whatsoever. But boy, does she know how to transform? We know for a fact that not many could tell the difference (or similarity?)

By the end of the day, Mahira did extend some valuable, fashion-forward advice our way: use your staples wisely and they can really change the conversation. As for Mahira Khan herself... she knows how to take the centre stage. Always.
