The bestest of friends, Asim Azhar and Hania Aamir are finally pairing up onscreen and not just on Instagram!

The duo will be appearing in Ahsan Talish's telefilm, Pyaar Kahani. This is the first time we will be seeing the couple on-screen together.

Talking to Images, the director shared, "The drama is written by Kishore Asmal and we have Hania Amir and Asim Azhar as the main leads. The cast also includes Saifi Hasan and Fazila Qazi. The story is about two writers who fall in love."

Telling us more about the characters, he added: "Asim is a businessman's son whose father puts him down a lot. His father doesn't want him to become a writer and instead wishes for him to follow in his footsteps and become a businessman who can simply buy a writer. However, Asim's character wants to be a self-made man."

"On the other hand, Hania's character is a relatively famous writer while Asim is rejected as a writer everywhere."

"Hania and Asim have wonderful chemistry and this is the first time they're going to be on screen together. Asim has done great work in it and Hania is already an amazing actor', says the director.

The telefilm will come out on 20 July, 2019.
