A new song has been released from Baaji and it has a surprise appearance by Mehwish Hayat.

The song, 'Gangster Guriya', features the star strutting around in edgy leather outfits and dancing her heart out, She's seen showing off her dance moves in different settings, from a throne to a garage with smoke and fire billowing around.

And the lyrics are just as badass as the video! "You can't touch this body, I am a gangster guriya" give off some serious rebellious feels.

Item songs are heavily debated on, with some critiquing them for feeding the male gaze and objectifying women and others supporting them for allowing women to own their sexuality.

So... I don't like this. I like Mehvish Hayat but her movements seem so robotic and stiff. Dance should seem natural and flowy. Dancing remains foreign to our culture so maybe that's why. I personally love dance as arts and watch videos online sometimes - usually American contemporary hip hop stuff etc. Its amazing and I hope more of our youngsters will pursue this arts as it's simply fascinating how you can make your body move like that. I was pleased to learn a Pakistani hiphop dance teacher is teaching in Turkey i believe. With dance start young and really practise it. I am not into Bollywood dance and find it just meh...but the modern contemporary dance is amazing. Many Koreans and Chinese also master them. Watch them. They are so talented.
