Sparks are in the air in this new web series about young love
A new web series is coming your way!
Teeli in association with Cornetto Cupidity is releasing a digital series called Summer Love; the quirky, feel-good episodes will feature protagonists Nida Butt (Vardah Aziz) and Sami Ansari (Hadi bin Arshad) who are poles apart. Their worlds collide at an internship at a media house, where they initially rub each other the wrong way but soon find themselves falling for one another.
Over the span of the series, we'll see the two overcome their initial friction and hesitation of taking the first step, a daunting task for young romantics. The series is a "modern take on young love in the digital-age" and has a look and feel to it that is "different than what mainstream Pakistani entertainment has to offer".
Summer Love has been directed by Muhammad Murtaza Alizai and written by Basit Naqvi. With 6 episodes of around 8 minutes each, a new one will release every Friday. Watch the first episode below:
