Chris Pratt and Tom Holland are brother elves in Onward trailer
After 2017's Coco, Pixar is ready for a new original story.
Disney dropped a trailer for upcoming film Onward and it's an interesting take on a magical world... without any magic.
Tom Holland and Chris Pratt play brother elves in a world that has moved from magic to technology, making it a fun take on the evolution of mankind - actually magic-kind. The two previously worked together in Avengers. Who'd have thought the two would be the next Disney duo?
Pixar has described the plot of the film as "two teenage elf brothers [who] embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there in the hopes of spending time with their dead father."
The one-liner reminds us a lot of Fullmetal Alchemist but the trailer shows more and it looks adorable.
After Coco, Pixar worked on movies related to their franchises such as Incredibles 2 and the upcoming Toy Story 4. This will be their first original after three years.
Onward releases March 6, 2020.
