We're feeling spoilt for choice with so many good Ramazan transmissions and guess what, another old favourite's back onscreen.

Javeria Saud and Imran Abbas will be taking over Express TV as co-hosts for their Iftar transmission, Ehed-e-Ramzan.

Talking to Images about her show, Javeria revealed: "Our transmission starts at 2:30 pm in the afternoon till Iftar. Saud will be in Saudi Arabia, he'll be doing the Makkah Medina segments and Imran and I will be holding down the fort live from here."

"As always, we'll have naats, quizzes, celebrities, a CSR segment where we'll call people who are working towards the betterment of society and helping others. We'll have guests from all walks of life come on the show. There's also a special story-telling segment for children also," she added.

This will be Imran's second year in a row hosting for Express Entertainment.

"We don't try to get into any complicated or controversial issues, our transmission is very basic. Our main forte is our purity: like I said, we keep it very basic, simple and communicative. We try to incorporate CSR, lots of naats and competitions for kids. This time we also have the very famous naat khu'wan Umme-e-Habiba from Chicago, she'll be joining us from Day 1 till mid Ramazan. Then we'll also have Siddiq Ismail sahab who's also an absolute legend," shared the actor.

He also added that they'll be focusing on reviving all the naats we've been hearing since childhood but that are slowly fading from memory.

One Suggestion,it should be sober presentation. No Huller Bazi. Both of you are handsomest.Be dignified and inspire others to behave like gentlemen. This is the crux.

Shouldn't we get rid this of these Ramadan transmissions by celebrities by now?
