Orlando Bloom popped the question to Katy Perry on V-Day, and we only now know the details.
The Fireworks singer said on Jimmy Kimmel Live that Orlando went the extra mile and made sure everything was extravagant for the proposal.
“We went to dinner. I thought we were going to go see some art after dinner, but we pulled up to a helicopter,” Perry said. “He asked me to marry him in a helicopter.”
Unfortunately, he ripped his coat pocket while pulling out the ring, because you guessed it, the box was too big. And he dipped his elbow in champagne. But it ended well.
“We landed on a rooftop. My whole family was there, and all my friends,” Perry said. “He did so well.”
Katy Perry showed off her engagement ring on Instagram a day after the proposal; a flower with a sparkling red stone surrounded by diamonds and captioned it 'full bloom'.
The two first met at a Golden Globes party and started dating in January 2016, a year later they broke it off. However, they rekindled their love after they bumped into each other at a New Year's party in Japan in 2018.
