Critically-acclaimed legal drama, Suits has been renewed for its ninth and final season by USA Network.

In a statement released by the network, it's been revealed that the last season will consist of 10 episodes.

The series, which started in 2011 began with rockstar lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) hiring a brilliant college dropout, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) as an associate in his high-profile firm. Mike promptly impressed his co-workers and also fell in love with firm’s best paralegal (Meghan Markle).

Executive producer, Aaron Korsh gave a shoutout to all the people who've been hooked to the show for the past 8 years: "To the fans who have stuck with the Suits family through thick and thin, through can-openers and flashbacks — thank you for always speaking your mind. Without you, I might start to think I’m getting the hang of this writing thing. And once that happens, nobody wins. I look forward to enraging and hopefully sometimes delighting you with the final episodes.”

The network is currently working on a spinoff series, Pearson starring Gina Torres.
