The Cut recently published an article titled "Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' love for real?" and called the Bollywood star's love for the American singer a "scam". Yep. That. Happened.

The piece, by writer and comedian Mariah Smith, was in poor taste and came across as racist - targeting PeeCee heavily and presenting Nick as oblivious and blind sided by his love for her.

Family and friends of the couple including her in-laws Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, immediately took to Twitter to shame the publication for the piece.

And what did Priyanka think of it?

“I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kind of random things can’t disturb it,” she said.

More power to PeeCee! Let the following tweets speak for the situation:

The Cut pulled down the article after receiving flak for it and the editor issued a note apologising for the debacle.

The writer of the article Mariah Smith also apologised to Priyanka Chopra for her piece, and wrote, "I want to sincerely apologise to Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and to the readers I offended and hurt with my words."

Probably some truth in the article. There is no smoke without fire.

What PC or Nick do is none of any body's business, nor are anyone's life and choices to be commented upon. If you can please commend or be happy about others or else shut up. No need to be disgracefully disdainful and spiteful.
