Meeting Malala would be a privilege, says Shah Rukh Khan

The actor shared a heartfelt moment with the young activist on Twitter

We won't lie, we love wholesome moments on social media and this is one them!

Principal of LMH Oxford took to social media and asked Shah Rukh Khan to pay a visit to the college and give a speech to the students and guess who thought that would be a lovely idea?

Young activist and current Oxford student, Malala Yousufzai showed support for the notion and can't say we blame her.

That definitely got SRK's attention and the star revealed his interest in not only visiting Oxford, but meeting Malala!

Khan said in his tweet, "Most certainly would love to do it and meeting you will be a privilege. Will put my team to schedule it sooner than soon." This won't be the first time Malala would hang with a Bollywood celeb. The activist has met with Twinkle Khanna and Arjun Kapoor but something's brewing in Oxford and its adorable!

To meet Ms. Yousafzai indeed would be a privilege for Mr. Khan. She is after all a bright light of kindness that the world has embraced for her innocence and simplicity of the message ' female education'. I had the privilege of listening to this Nobel Laureate when she spoke in the full house of Canadian Parliament. Her eloquence and simplicity of the message brought the whole floor to its feet (no small feat considering she was addressing bunch of politicians). Unfortunately, unlike the world, the Pakistan population, keeping consistent with their conspiracy laden mindset, has dismissed her as the "agent of the West'. As a result we don't have the wisdom that she can bestow upon all of us, and particularly to our youth, that hard work and dedication sky is the limit. However, we have been left without having this gem of a person being denied to be a role model. Pity, pity indeed and its our loss.

This is not a criticism of Malala Yusufzai but on the Nobel committee. If you get shot in the head and survive you get a Nobel prize. Or if you are a black man and get elected as the President of USA you get a Nobel prize. Traumatic being shot but it has certainly improved her's and her family life by accommodation in the UK. Most of us have to be illegal immigrants to start a new life in the UK or the west. And cannot afford a decent life in Pakistan.

@Farooq Jawed . I agree. On my recent visit to Pakistan after 24 years, I am astounded by the cynicism Pakistanis have for anything. Everything is viewed with religious filter, skepticism for science, jealousy and so on.

@Farooq Jawed Very well said... it seems in our society taking a bullet but then surviving is not enough to be worthy of greater respect. Sadly, we want martyrs to gain our attention, Personally i love her, she's a great role model for my children.

Malala is a great young lady in her own rights and Shah Rukh Khan is a fine actor. If they meet at Oxfor that would be fine.

@Kulbhushan Yadav Whoever you are, you are full of it. What kind of comment is that when you say she should be a Prime Minister of Pakistan? Politics and power will only corrupt her. Benazir was an idealist, Oxford educated and gifted. Look what happened to her. Married a corrupt Mr.10%, twice removed as a Prime Minister and exiled. And assassinated.
