After a cancelled premiere raised eyebrows about whether HUM Films' Parwaaz Hai Junoon will release on schedule, Chairman of the Central Board of Film Censors Danyal Gilani has said that film has been cleared for screening.

Gilani announced the news on Twitter, saying the film was reviewed by a full board:

The Karachi premiere of the film, which was scheduled to be held yesterday, was cancelled last minute citing 'unavoidable circumstances'. It was rumoured that the title had yet to be cleared by the CBFC.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon is said to be a tribute to the Pakistan airforce. Directed by Haseeb Hassan, It stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Amir among others.
