QB brings a little bit of FIFA to Pakistan

QB brings a little bit of FIFA to Pakistan

The singer collaborated with Jason Derulo on a version of the World Cup anthem
19 Jun, 2018

Is there FIFA fever in Pakistan? You bet!

And while there is no Pakistan team in the world cup championship, the love for football runs strong. Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch has given us another reason to go FIFA-crazy...

The singer performed a desi-fied version of this year's FIFA anthem, which was originally sung by Jason Derulo:

QB gives Derulo's anthem that extra beat, making it even more dance worthy than it originally was. As if we didn't enjoy the song, that addition of the dhol makes it feel complete. We can't help it, we love that desi beat!

This rendition of 'Colors' has a nice blend of Eastern and Western music and the video will definitely get you in the spirit! Living up to its name, the song is full of colours and we see Pakistan being represented for its love of football and zest for life.

Iceland, with a population of little more than 300,000 has managed to qualify, but our 'talented' country of more than 200 million has never managed to even come close to qualifying. Where is all this talent everyone talks about?

The problem is not at the bottom but it is with the policies and people involved in the management and ministers of the government who have denied the right to the talented people in this sports and awarded without merit. This goes to every sport of the country...
