Ranbir Kapoor just confirmed that he and Alia Bhatt are dating
After months of "are they or aren't they", Ranbir Kapoor has finally admitted that hieand Alia Bhatt are in fact a thing.
When GQ straight up asked the actor if he's dating Bhatt, he replied, "It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit."
He also added that a new relationship is always synonymous with "a lot of excitement".
"It’s a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again – you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I’m more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back," he added.
In an earlier interview, Alia had been all praise for Kapoor too: "I would definitely say that I’m fascinated by the kind of person he is, with his vibe and behaviour. He is a really rare person and in the years that I have been alive, I haven’t seen many such people.”
The duo will be appearing together in Brahmastra, being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy; it hits cinemas August 15, 2019.
