We knew cancellations were coming, we just didn't expect ABC to give Quantico the axe.

The Priyanka Chopra starrer in which she plays the fierce Agent Alex Parrish, an FBI recruit framed for a bombing attack has officially been cancelled and will not be returning for a fourth season, reports Variety.

The show’s current season, which premiered last month, will continue to air through mid-July and has managed to attract a viewership of 2.3 million in total; Chopra has even won two People’s Choice Awards for her performance on the show.

Other fan favourites that have been cancelled in recent days also include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Lucifer and Designated Survivor.

Created by Joshua Safran, Quantico starred Chopra, Josh Hopkins, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington, and Blair Underwood in pivotal roles.

PC will be seen next in Salman Khan starrer, Bharat.

One of the most horrific show I have ever seen. It was based on extended fiction that human mind completely refuse to accept. May it Rest In Peace forever.
