Will Farhan Akhtar be playing a cop in Don 3?
Farhan Akhtar's remake of Don (2006) was an ambitious effort that paid off -- the movie was a commercial success!
What followed was a sequel, Don 2: The Chase Continues (2011) which also got mass acclaim; naturally we've got high hopes for the third movie of the franchise which is happening just by the way!
DNA reports that Farhan Akhtar has made developments on the script and according to a source, “He had bounced the idea off to SRK, who liked it. Farhan had taken a break from acting and put all his energy into developing the script for this film. He has finally locked the script and things are moving in the right direction.”
Not only that, rumour has it that the director/scriptwriter will also be acting in the third installment!
“Farhan will also act in this film. He will play a desi top cop. Since a portion of the film will be set in India, Farhan will be seen donning the policeman’s uniform in the film," added the source while also revealing that Priyanka Chopra's character has most likely been written off and that PC will not be reprising her role in the upcoming flick.
Don 3 is reportedly eyeing a 2020 release.
