Bollywood has become poorer with the sudden demise of veteran actor Sridevi this past weekend.
The Mom actor died after she suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday night in Dubai where she was attending a family wedding.
Her colleagues were dismayed by her passing, and fans appear to have taken to bingeing on her most iconic performances to console themselves. In her last film Mom, Sridevi earned rave reviews for her turn as the protagonist, a woman who seeks to avenge her step-daughter's rape.
But did she have any more films in the pipeline? A Times of India report suggests that Sridevi had a cameo in Zero, the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer in which he plays a dwarf. The report says that Sridevi stars as herself in a party scene that will also feature Shah Rukh, Alia Bhatt and Karisma Kapoor.
The release date of the Anand L Rai-directed Zero has yet to be announced, but it is speculated to hit screens in December this year.
