11 times the Trudeaus' family trip to India proved they're all of us on vacation

11 times the Trudeaus' family trip to India proved they're all of us on vacation

We cannot help but relate to these photos of the Canadian PM and his adorable family at the Taj Mahal
18 Feb, 2018

Justin Trudeau and co. posing in front of the Taj Mahal bring back memories of childhood family vacays - no seriously.

The Trudeau family landed in India this weekend for a week-long visit and their first stop was Agra. Of course, that meant a trip to the iconic Taj Mahal.

Like all tourists, the Trudeaus' also took a bunch of pictures posing in front of the historic building; some candid, some solo, and some prepping for the main photo - let's face it, we've all been there.

Let the 'awws' begin.

1) The mandatory silhouette photo with the infamous landmark as the backdrop

2) The excited walk to the landmark, family in tow

HOW do they manage to look so fabulous though??

3) Entertaining each other till you reach the destination

... our entertainment was snacking... but okay.

4) That one person who takes (hideous) candids while the parents figure out how to take THE family photo

5) The setup - aka the trickiest part

6) The one child who refuses to cooperate - another tricky part

7) Finally managing to get the picture! But wait, the photographer cut off the legs. Great.

8) Another attempt... but the children are so done.

9) Giving up

Trudeau thinking, "I'm so done with you lot. I ask you for one thing. ONE THING."

10) Forget the family photo, it's time to update the Facebook dp

11) The 'We Were Here' sign off

Lucky are those who get such pictures taken of a great Mughal monument without any crowds behind.

Not a single other soul around the Taj. It is otherwise a highly crowded place any day. Must have been evacuated for the special guests.

Justin Trudeau is such a refreshing and hence unique world leader. It is his humanity, but with no comprimise on his nation’s interests - but based on a longer term view than most.

Taj Mahal is good spot for vacation, but Pakistan's Skardu and northern areas are even more fascinating. National Geographic around 1990 described Skardu and around as the grandest play of bature on planet earth with 65 of the tallest 100 mountain peaks and the world's first six largest glaciers and much more. Trudeau family and every body else would love Skardu and around in Pakistan.

@Thoroughthinker not evacuated but allowed an early entrance. Taj opens at sunrise but for VIP arrivals the security delays entry by 30min. In this case they are visiting at between 7-8am I guess

@Anwar Mahmood You sure must be mistaken to believe that he is on a vacation getaway. Canada has enough picturesque valleys and snow capped mountains to accept your invitation.
