Amitabh Bachchan's losing Twitter followers and he's not having it

Bachchan is no longer the most followed Bolly celeb on the micro-blogging site and he's ready to fight Twitter for it

Amitabh Bachchan keeps a count of everything. And we mean everything; from his tweets to his followers.

Knowing how active the Bollywood star is on Twitter, he's noticed his follower count has reduced... significantly and he's now threatening to quit the micro-blogging site!

"T 2599 - TWITTER ..!!!?? you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! thats a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. .. there are many 'other' fish in the sea - and a lot more exciting !!" tweeted an evidently angry Big B.

In other words, he's not having it.

We have lots of questions, but the most pressing one at the moment is: who are these other fish? Snapchat? Instagram??

While Big B battles it out with Twitter, we may have some light to shed on the matter: the actor has (probably) fallen victim to a Twitter clean-up, following a NY Times expose about fake followers but he clearly thinks there something most sinister at play. Maybe that's why he's laughing, in uppercase.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has now become the most followed Bolly celeb with some 40,000 more followers than Mr. Bachchan. Ouch. Right in the feels.

Nothing is forever, and this is the ultimate truth. One thing for sure people love Mr. Bachchan's voice, his humility and down to earth approach. This other fellow is arrogant, full of double standards, certainly won't last as many years in the industry. Already looking like a joker. Personally would love to see a movie with seriousness of Mr. Bachchan and freshness of Ms. Saba Qamar . Very impressed with her too, extremely talented and full of positive energy.

He lost his twitter followers due To his photo with Israeli PM. I was one of them. To unfollow him. This is very sensitive issue and stars should not involve in politics. I was disheartened to see my favorite star with Israeli PM.

There is no match of Amitabh. The only issue is he belongs to the generation which was not addicted to the computer/cell phone. Love you man, but it hurt me when I saw you with Netanyahu, who is killer of thousands of Palestinians.

@spicy Bachan is the best actor from both sides of the sub continent and Saba Qatar at the moment is extremely talented and original actor. I like them both and they should be together in a movie. SRK is looking horrible now.
