Who isn't excited about Allahyar and the Legend of the Markhor? No? Well, here's a trailer to get you started.
The trailer for the animated film came out on Wednesday and we have to say, the two-minute video looks good!
Allahyar is about a boy who gets kidnapped and uses the help of his animal companions to escape. The film is said to tackle several different themes and animal poaching is definitely one of them. Also, we never thought we'd say this but Ali Noor is scaring us.
Considering the edits made for the trailer and the dialogues, 3rd World Studios seems to know what they're doing. This looks like a treat to watch!

While the animation may seem like it can improve, there's no denying that its quality is lightyears ahead when compared to animated films and adverts that have previously been made in Pakistan. We have a feeling Allahyar will set the benchmark higher.
Allahyar features Anum Zaidi, Natasha Humera Ejaz, Azfar Jafri, Ali Noor and Abdul Nabi Jamali in the lead characters. According to 3rd World, Ali Rehman Khan, Hareem Farooq, Arshad Mehmood and Nadia Jamil also make appearances.
Allahyar and the Legend of the Markhor is slated for release on February 2.

What a pleasant surprise! Good job Pakistan! Keep moving forward!
Great piece of art. The effort put in this project is highly commendable. As a reader, I will try promote this piece of art in schools and colleges. Moreover, many great animation studios have developed from scratch , making great feature animations of all time like Studio Ghibli of Japan.
Good one, please use simple urdu language kids grownup abroad does not understand/enjoy fully.
@last comment : this would help them learn some useful Urdu words.
Kudos to the film makers. Please keep up the great work. We have a lot of talent in Pakistan and the country is capable of achieving great heights, if we can be allowed to focus and harness their energy.
@akram Why do people think animation movies are for kids only?
@akram I think In Pakistan this perception exists that animated means cartoon for kids. Its a movie made with creativity. It doesn’t matter if a person is 34 , 43 or 80. Art can be enjoyed by anyone.
