Let's revive friendships this winter with the 7Up bonfire song

The tune by the talented Parizae Azhar sums up how to celebrate winters with your BFFs
Updated 30 Dec, 2017

December is probably the favourite time of the year for a lot of us in Pakistan. We're thinking holidays chills, mehendi dance practices, warm hoodies, yummy BBQ nights and cosy sleepovers.

This year we're thinking of reminiscing them good ol' days with friends and make new memories with the 7Up bonfire song.

Here's how:

1. Planning a bonfire

What's a winter break with no bonfire or camping plans? We're watching Parizae Azhar's latest song to get ideas for an all-nighter with the besties, with loads of food and music.

2. Food, food and more food

BBQ-ing on chilly roof tops or cooking traditionally in the kitchen, this winter is all about sharing treats with besties.

Who's trying out some cheese naan with BBQ chicken?

3. Singing your favorite tunes

Outdoor parties with music blasting in the background: been there done that. Relive those moments this winter with some karaoke on the rooftop!

4. Watching old classics

For those staying in, how about picking a classic and watching it all over again? We're thinking horror movies - with nacho chips to snack on.

5. Friends who party together, stick together

How about planing a trip together to the newest cafe in town? Party plans mean dressing up, sharing cab rides and chipping in pocket money, sigh #WeekendGoals!

Friendships that support each other are the ones that last, right? (duh!)

Oh how much we want to act like goras I’ll never understand People say it’s celebrating different cultures in the world... then why not dance like Zulus of Africa?

@H Khan Well said. Desis (true for all South Asians) love to act goras except when it comes to emulating positive ethical values of western societies.
