Arth's latest song captures the essence of heartbreak

Rahat Fateh Ali's vocals for 'Sanwar De Khudaya' definitely tug at the heartstrings
Updated 19 Nov, 2017

The first song from Shaan Shahid's upcoming film Arth - the Destination is out and the ballad is quite beautiful.

Sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, 'Sanwar De Khudaya' is a song which speaks about heartbreak and losing your loved one.

Featuring Shaan Shahid, Humaima Malick, Mohib Mirza and Uzma Hassan, the video shows the four stars in dismay and utter torment as heartbreak takes over.

Sahir Ali Bagga as its music composer weaves the emotional lyrics into a melody that'll make you sway, with its high notes capturing the yearning you feel when you fall out of love.

Apart from the lyrics and the music, the song also gives an insight into the film by enacting the heartbreaking and climactic moments from the film. The emotion and drama in the song are a (small) reflection of what a roller coaster this one is going to be.

Arth 2 is Shaan's attempt at remaking the 1982 Mahesh Bhatt classic Arth. It stars Shaan — who is also directing the film — Mohib Mirza, Humaima Malik and Uzma Hassan as leads.

The film is expected to release worldwide in cinemas on December 21 this year.

Romance from such an old actor does not appeal good to eyes and retirement from lead roles should be best option for him, in addition, i think he can fit himself in father's or uncle's role.

@Syed Majid Ali Bukhari you need to distinguish & there are exceptions in this world since not all fingers are same. Shan looks awfully old, can be tested in Father or Uncle roles.

@asad - Thats a wrong notion. Its called Age-ism. we judge people, and expect them to behave in a certain way, adhere to certain norms because of their age, and thats wrong. why cant an older man be in love with a younger woman? but bollywood has taken it to another level. Thats, in my opinion, quite cheap. their 50 years plus heros, act like teenagers. Thats funny.

Great actors. I’m sure their performances would be good. But not interested in watching a remake of an old Bollywood film.

@asad You can fall in love in any age. And in a country where performing artists are judged be happy with what you have!
