Harvey Weinstein allegedly preyed on Aishwarya Rai too: reports

Aish's international talent manager claims the disgraced Hollywood executive tried "hard to get Aishwarya alone"
Updated 13 Oct, 2017

Allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, the 65-year-old film executive, continue to mount as actresses and female colleagues come forward, accusing Weinstein of sexual misconduct and speaking in support of his victims.

Turns out, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also reportedly found herself in danger around him.

Aish's international talent manager, Simone Sheffield, left a comment in a report at Variety.com, claiming that Weinstein tried hard "to get Aishwarya alone".

"He asked me to leave the meeting numerous times and I politely declined," Sheffield, who has also been Bipasha Basu's manager, claimed.

"When we were leaving his office, he cornered me and said "What do I have to do to get her alone?" I told him to "kiss my black a--," Sheffield continued.

There has been no comment from Aishwarya regarding Sheffield's comment as yet. Aish was last seen in a Hollywood project in her film Pink Panther.

Plenty of Weinstein in Indian moviedom as well. Some girls accept their advances and benefit too.

Why there are no charges against him so far. Others like him must also be prosecuted. This is no excuse that all males (specially in power) do it.

Pakistani actor Hassan Niazi said the same thing. How rampant and common it is in our own film industry, where girls have to accept director's advances and benefit for getting roles in movies, soaps and fashion industry. Government must form appropriate mechanism to end this practise.

I am glad hollywood stands up and supports each other. Unlike our film industry. When Veena Malik exposed the same rot in Fashion industry and Lollywood she was shamed and shunned just like Ayesha Gulalai for speaking up against the filthy culture here.

The field thrives only on this. Something is being created out of a commonplace daily occurrence. But for this many actors would not be where they are now.

Hollywood is a cluster of perverted souls. What intrigues me is why one man is being singled out. There was a ring that Chester Ben tried to bring forth dealing in child prostitution involving big names and senators. He was unsuccessful. The dirt in this world scares me.

The rumor here in South LA is that he actually slept with her while she was in town with a famous TV host. Every body knew that he was lecher, but these Indian actresses still came to him for work. I guess the Hollywood glamour is bigger than Bollywood.

All these "woods" are infested with sex maniacs. The ladies who choose this glittering career should be well aware of inherent risks. And of course, we all know: All that glitters is not gold.

IMPORTANT THING IS EXAMPELORY PUNISHMENT FOR HIM. ALSO TAKING AWAY HIS WEALTH TO BE USED FOR PREVENTION OF SUCH CRIMES.
