Pakistani horror movie Pari's trailer is giving us goosebumps

The visuals are dark and the music is eerie; we're intrigued by this one!

The trailer for Pakistani horror film Pari is out and we're intrigued.

After a few failed attempts by our entertainment industry at horror films in past, Pari seems to hold some promise.

From the trailer it seems like the film revolves around a young couple that moves into a new house where evil spirits possess their child.

The only clue we're given of the whole ordeal is: "When you interfere in the matters of nature, nature haunts you back" and we sense a very Amityville Horror vibe.

The visuals and music lend to the genre of the film; they are dark and eerie. And the trailer does its job of keeping the suspense going!

Pari has been directed by Syed Atif Ali, who also co-wrote the script with Muhammad Ahsan. The cast includes Qavi khan, Khushi Maheen, Rasheed Naz, Saleem Miraj, Azekah Daniel, Junaid Akhtar and Faiq Asim.

The film is slated for release on October 31. Halloween just got spookier!

If this trailer gives you goosebumps, perhaps you need to re-visit your definition of 'horror'.

I had watched one pakistani horror movie .. thanks to youtube .. it was great movie .. actually it wasnt a horror movie which we discovered at end but more of a thriller because this woman was all the time plotting and scheming to label the events around her as a ghostly event but she wanted to hide something sinister .. i dont recall the name but it was one of the best of its kind .. sometimes i believe bollywood has money but pakistani content (music or art or movie) has substance.

Yes seemingly a copy of Amityville horror, fridge and don't forget the famous conjuring nun that was featured at the end. Soooooo intriguing.

@Nabeel I did shiver and get goosebumps. Almost choked to death on my glass of water while watching the nun scene at the end. This is going to be best of Pakistan's horror flick. It's academy award worthy. Stop criticising it for no reason.

Every time a Pakistani movie is made, why does everyone start finding the slightest thing to compare them with foreign movies, It's a very negative and discouraging attitude. Movies of same genres will always have something similar, doesn't mean it's a copy.
