Malaika Arora Khan slams hater for calling her a gold digger

An Instagram user accused her of 'feeding off her husband's money'

Celebs find themselves facing countless online haters, this time Malaika Arora Khan was on the receiving end when an Instagram user accused her of being a gold digger - of course, the actor wasn't one to let such slander slide.

In a recent Insta post of Malaika, uploaded by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, an Instagram user commented saying, "This [is] what these women do these days. Marry a rich guy then divorce him for huge alimony. And then have fun with that alimony."

He continued his tirade and then said, "Do you seriously have any work... or just feeding yourself off your husband's money."

This comes after Malaika's divorce with Arbaaz Khan earlier this year after 18 years of marriage. However, the Chaiyya Chaiyya dancer had a befitting response to shut down her hater.

She wrote, "I do not indulge in such conversation because it's below my dignity, but I just had to because you certainly got to get your facts right before spewing sh*t and slagging me off when you know nothing about me."

"I seriously suggest you find something to do with your time because you clearly have nothing better to do in life," she added.

Did we hear a whip crack?

Before pointing fingers, people should know that Malaika Arora Khan is a successful entrepreneur who founded clothing label The Label Life alongside Bipasha Basu and Sussanne Khan earlier this year. On a side note, Malaika and Arbaaz parted ways on an amicable note and still continue to socialise at gatherings and otherwise.

I think she has more income than Arbaaz Khan which is probably the reason why she let him. How long can she wait for Salman's largesse.

Pardon me, but was there any alimony? If no, then she has every right to ewhip the accuser. But if the answer is yes, in spite of her being a successful entrepreneur, then what? This article is silent on the answer to the main question.
