Deepika Padukone scores a Teen Choice Award nomination

Here's another feather in Deepika Padukone's cap.

The actress has become one of the nominees for this year’s Teen Choice Awards; Deepika has been listed under the category Action Movie Actress for her film xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Padukone will be competing with Gal Gadot aka Wonder Woman for the title.

Others nominated in the same category are: Kaya Scodelario for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Michelle Rodriguez for The Fate of The Furious, Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose for xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

The Teen Choice Awards 2017 celebrates the year's achievements in the field of music, film, television, sports, fashion, comedy and video games and will be held on 13 August in Los Angeles.

No wonder the xXx: Return of Xander Cage director wants to sign Deepika for the sequel; here's hoping she wins!
