I have no doubt fasting is good, but with the same varacity i will state, dehydration is not and damages vital organs like the brain. fast but please drink water

Question 1 is not answered correctly. Fasting as in Muslim set up does not last long enough to use lipid or protein stores. Their mobilization requires much longer time than the Muslim fast which is rarely longer than 16 to 18 hours at max. Protein catabolism takes days to kick in and same is true for fat mobilization. Another question states that fasting repairs muscle. That requires amino acids in blood which, for muscle regeneration, must come from diet aka essential amino acids. So it does not seem true either. Rest is spot on.

Being a professional doctor here are very basic things missing here 1, intense dehydration leads to a no of patients going into heat stroke and kidney failure. 2: every Ramazan the no of patients visiting emergency departments with perforated duodenal ulcers increase many fold 3: Road rage accidents, domestic and street violence also increase many fold. 4: no of patients with diabetes go into hypoglycemia and few of them develop permanent brain damage.
