Mehrunisa We Lub You's trailer tells us there is more to the film than cringe-worthy romance

A hero and heroine can have regular concerns, like where do they want to raise their kids?

What's next from the team of 2015's hit film Wrong No?

The trailer for Yasir Nawaz's Mehrunisa We Lub You has been released and turns out the film's not just a regular romance.

It doesn't seem to be about Danish Taimoor getting the girl, but what happens once their nuptials have taken place.

There's the wait for "good news" and Danish Taimoor is concerned about raising a child in a neighbourhood like his. Will he go against his father's wishes and move to a better part of town? Or will he be the hero who turns things around for the community? These are the questions the trailer leaves us with. In between, there's lots of naach gana, plotting and scheming and some cringe-worthy romance sequences.

We also caught glimpses of the set of Burnes Road that is being touted as "perhaps the biggest set in the history of Pakistan." "We will be recreating the mahol (environment) of Burnes Road, along with the replica of the iconic food street in Karachi," the director had said to Images.

The film stars an ensemble cast, including Danish Taimoor, Jawed Sheikh and Nayyer Ejaz. Actor Sana Javed makes her film debut as the film's female protagonist.

Mehrunisa We Lub You will come out on Eid ul Fitr.

First of all they need to get rid of TV actor in films. Introduce new faces in the film industry. So that we could feel the change.

Finally our film industry is reviving with quality content. It seems we need such movies to wake up our nation to believe in them. People can bring the change to their societies with strong will power and dedication.
