Every Ramazan, TV channels are in a race to bag the biggest celebs and the ratings boon they bring with them.

So we weren't really surprised when we learned that Momina Mustehsan has sung a Ramazan OST for A-Plus and ATV.

Her rendition of 'Qaseeda Burda Sharif' for the show Ittihad Ramazan came out last night.

Turns out her song has hit over a million hits on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube combined in a span of less than 24 hours.

Could this be the reason for Momina's big smile?

She knew she did a good job

As a song, music video, it is good. But pushing the boundary of acceptability, and not very respectful.

instead of letting people pray and worship in this holy months, tv channels are racing towards getting good ratings by using new tactics and employing new and pretty faces for ramzan transmissions. what an irony! i must suggest that during ramazan all entertainment channels should be sent on leaves so that they let common man to pray and worship during this month. after all this is what ramazan meant for.

Very informative style to recite naat in such manner. Not acceptable but should be discouraged gently.

No doubt she recites naat very well but she had to cover her head completely while reciting such kind of Kalam if u could show little more respect, would harm anyone.... my opinion... her appearance doesn't matter

My dear fellows, if you mean she looks like Nazia Hassan then its ok. I cannot recall any famous singer named Nadia Hassan. She can became a heartthrob like Nazia Hassan if she can produce some amazing music like Nazia has produced which will be evergreen in Pakistan music history.

@fatima does covering your head is only applicable while reciting ?? or it is wajib every single while?? so if you are disobeying throughout the day .. He wont mind for these 5 mins i guess.
