There may have been a lot of star power on the runway but these few celebrities stood out.

The extravagant Bridal Couture Week 2017 kicked-off yesterday and designers rolled out their finest collections for the audience.

However, what really caught our attention were the celebrity showstoppers.

From Janaan heartthrob Bilal Ashraf to TV show host Anoushay Ashraf and cute couple Aiza Khan and Danish Taimoor, there was no dearth of star power on the ramp, and though everyone looked glamorous there were a few favourites from the lot who added oomph to the ramp.

Here's a list of celebs who kicked it up a notch on Day 1 of the bridal show:

Anoushay Ashraf in Yasmin Zaman:

The TV show host looked pretty as a picture in Yasmin Zaman's Jashan-e- Bahar collection.

The pink ensemble had delicate embroidery and the actor carried it with grace. Bonus points for minimal jewellry.

Sara Khan in Rizwan Ahmed:

The TV actor brought this Rizwan Ahmed bridal to life with her cheery smile. She carried it effortlessly and with class and completely outshone her partner Agha Ali.

Tehmina Khalid, Khalid Anam in Gogi by Hassan Riaz

We're not big fans of what Khalid Anam is wearing, but hey, he's having fun! That's what counts. Photo: M. Haris Usmani, Ahsan Qureshy.

Gotta love Khalid Anam's jovial expression. Sweet, much?

Raga boys in Amir Adnan

Tassels on men's shawls, though? Hmmm.. Photo: M. Haris Usmani, Ahsan Qureshy.

Give it up for the Raga boys! They belted tunes and looked devilishly charming while singing on the runway. Wearing Amir Adnan these three probably had hearts swooning left, right and centre.

And here's the list of those who could've made it to our favourites, but didn't:

Aiza Khan and Danish Taimoor in Aisha Farid

We had such high hopes from these two. Photo: M. Haris Usmani, Ahsan Qureshy.

These two are such an adorable and good looking pair, but we wish there was more chemistry between the two on the runway. They were too static and withdrawn while modelling Aisha Farid.

Psst, take cue from Tehmina and Khalid.

Ali Kazmi in Arsalan Iqbal

Ali Kazmi is effortless on the ramp, but this time we were missing the pizzazz he usually brings with him. Maybe he wasn't feeling the clothes, maybe he was just tired, but he was so close to making it to our list of favourites.

Noor Bukhari in Gogi by Hassan Riaz

Noor always looks stunning in whatever she wears, but this one didn't do justice to the TV actor. The dress lacked shape and made the actor look frumpy.

Shahroz Sabzwari in Naushad Imdad

Oh no. This is a faux pas! Photo: M. Haris Usmani, Ahsan Qureshy.

Another good looking chap who failed to impress. Though it's not him, it's the clothes we're mulling over.
