Coke Studio's credited for bringing our indigenous folk and classical sounds to a mainstream audience, but what do purists think of this musical endeavour?
We asked veteran music critic and first-time Coke Studio listener Asif Noorani to weigh in on some of the Season 9's most hotly debated tracks - Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Afreen Afreen', Abida Parveen and Ali Sethi's 'Aaqa' and Haroon Shahid and Quratulain Baloch's 'Baliye' (that features bits of the classic 'Laung Gawacha').
