Karan Johar just announced Student of the Year 2 and fans aren't happy
Karan Johar's famous directorial Student of the Year, which shot newcomers, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan to fame, will see a sequel, but fans aren't happy with the news.
The director broke the news on Twitter Monday morning and wrote, "It's OFFICIAL.... Directed by Punit Malhotra STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 ( SOTY2) with TIGER SHROFF @iTIGERSHROFF".
However, the response wasn't so positive. It wasn't because fans had an issue with the sequel, but more so the cast. After KJo announced Tiger Shroff as one of the lead cast members in the upcoming film, SOTY fans instantly tweeted their disapproval, with many tweeting that there shouldn't be a sequel without the original cast.
Yeah, they are definitely not happy.
