Kareena is today's brave modern woman, says Anil Kapoor
While many argue that Kareena's role in Bollywood has seen a decline post-marriage, Anil Kapoor believes otherwise.
According to NDTV, the actor sees her as a 'brave modern woman' in today's world.
"The biggest example of today's brave modern woman is Kareena Kapoor. She is pregnant, but the script is ready and she is doing my daughter's film. What else can be the biggest change than this? It is a very brave and great decision on Kareena and Rhea's part," said Anil Kapoor.
And he credits it all to equality in the entertainment industry.
"The times are changing in Bollywood. Now even actresses are as big a star as actors. They are getting paid equal and even more in some cases," he added.
Kareena Kapoor is expecting a child end of this year and will be shooting for Rhea Kapoor's upcoming film Veere Di Wedding in August. The film also stars Rhea's younger sister Sonam Kapoor.
