How Prince William is showing support for UK's LGBTQ community

The Duke of Cambridge has appeared on the cover of Attitude, a gay lifestyle magazine

Royalty addressed LGBTQ rights by being featured on the cover of a gay magazine for the first time.

Prince William made history by being the first member of the Royal family to be photographed for a gay magazine, Attitude. He will be featured on the cover of the July edition.

Last week, Prince William invited the UK-based magazine along with members of the LGBTQ community and asked them to share their experiences of homophobia, and the psychological issues they face due to the bullying.

During the session, the Duke of Cambridge stated, "No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives."

Following the deadly Orlando attack, Prince William and Princess Kate paid respects to the victims of the mass shooting by signing a condolence book at the US embassy in London.

It read, "With our deepest condolences and with our thoughts and prayers to all those affected -- William and Catherine."

After seeing Prince William on the cover one can only wonder whether he is happy with his marriage in the first place.

They have abandoned it but we still hold onto section 377, an archaic law which is over 160 years old. Shame on us Indians for this!

@Talha Why? Are you seriously suggesting that you can only show support for the LGBTQ community if you're gay yourself?!

@Talha It does carry a lot of weight when prominent people such as the Prince come forth and join hands with the community to affirm that "no one should be bullied for their sexuality..." Lgbt people have the right to exist and live happy and fulfilling lives just like every other human being.
