Akshay Kumar gets bored of action films. Here's why
Akshay Kumar gets tired of doing action films back to back.
According to Indian Express, Akshay Kumar feels it's important to change genres from time to time.
In a promotional event for his upcoming flick Houseful 3, Akshay was asked which genre he finds difficult to work in and which he enjoys most. “Obviously comedy is the most difficult. But I enjoy everything,” he said.
Akshay has been versatile in his choice of movies, ranging from action to comedy to content-based drama such as Holiday. The actor feels it is important to change genres frequently since it can be very limiting.
“I just want to give away comedy for a while because how long can you do one genre. You can do it for 3-5 months, then you start getting bored of it. Like when I used to do a lot of action films, I used to actually feel bad about having to go every day and do action films. I needed a change,” the actor added.
After Houseful 3, the star will be seen in Rustom, a serious story revolving around a naval officer.
