After nearly half a decade in captivity, Shahbaz Taseer is finally home.

And there's a lot he missed out on.

While he's still adjusting to all the new forms of social media (hello, Instagram!), Twitter is something he used regularly even before he got kidnapped.

The son of former Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer, Shahbaz was abducted from Lahore in 2011, just months after his father was shot for opposing the country’s controversial blasphemy laws.

He was picked up by security forces in Balochistan on March 8, though the circumstances of his release remain murky.

Well, now he's back and on Tuesday, Taseer engaged in a light-hearted question and answer session with over 14,000 followers. Here are the highlights of the chat:

Think he'll be binge watching Homeland? Think again!

Some wondered if he had access to music.

The answer is no but hey, he made the best of a bad situation.

He can listen to music now and what's he digging these days might come as a shocker to some.

What does he feel has changed the most in his time away?

He missed a lot of things being away from home.

They say when you go through something like he did, it gives you a new found outlook to life. It seems like that's true; Taseer wants to check certain things off his bucket list.

We forgive him for spelling bungee wrong.

This guy is back home due to the prayers of the unknown Pakistanis who only pray for this country and people and want nothing in return...hopefully the Taseer family will not let the distance take ove between them and the prayers to God...

Do you keep in touch with Aatish Taseer, your half brother? May God bless you and may you live long free of any dangers in future.

Now if you are back, please act responsibly and sensibly. We really don't care if you are listening to Beiber, eat Nihari, or whatever little things you want to do... Since you missed clean water and you complained; in Sindh, People Party have kept the population in captivity where where they never had clean water to drink and sanitation facility.. Do something sensibly for such people who voted for the party you represent
