Is Fawad Khan sick of his superstar persona?
In the recent past Fawad Khan's always been careful to present a very polished image to the world — not dissimilar to the role he played in Khoobsurat with Sonam Kapoor.
That seems to be changing now. In a quirky video for the chips company he promotes he takes on the role of a stalker/psychopath who's kidnapped the 'real' Fawad and pokes fun at his superstar persona.
Fawad's alter ego says he's sick and tired of how he can't even play Playstation anymore because his mom's always watching Fawad's dramas on television. He adds: "Everywhere I go I have to see his face... I go to buy a mobile I see his face. I go to buy shampoo I see his face."
Dressed in the red Man U tracksuit that Fawad's been wearing for Oye Hoye promos in the past, the only thing familiar about this persona is that big black curly wig he wears — isn't it exactly like the one Hamza Ali Abbasi wore in an ad that also poked fun at Fawad?
