Aishwarya is the sole female nominee in the Best Actor in an Action Role category at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has bagged a nomination for the Best Actor in an Action Role – Male/Female category for Jazbaa for the upcoming BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2015, where she is the only female actress to earn the spot, reported Indian Express.
Other nominations in the category include names like Akshay Kumar for Gabbar Is Back, Arjun Kapoor for Tevar, Varun Dhawan for Badlapur and Saif Ali Khan for Phantom.
In Jazbaa, Aishwarya played a criminal lawyer (played by Aishwarya) who is forced to lose a case by the kidnappers of her young daughter. The film also starred Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff.
The award ceremony will be held later this month.
Aishwarya will next be seen in Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.
