Twitter tells Ansar Abbasi to stop sexualising women working out

The journalist thinks workout routines on television are apparently dishonourable and vulgar.

It is no surprise that Pakistan is a country where men are intolerant of women existing in the same public domain as them.

It is this very reason that women are unsafe, with their bodies groped on the streets, in their homes, when they ask for help from authorities, and objectified even on television, where working out and displaying exercise routines for those interested, is deemed dishonourable and vulgar.

A recent tweet from columnist and journalist Ansar Abbasi has been making rounds, angering Twitteratis who find it disrespectful that an act promoting a healthy lifestyle, is used to sexualise women, instead.

There, they said it

2020 is the year of solutions

Take notes

Is it really safe for people with this mentality to be roaming around freely?

A reality check would be great

Scary times

Some get exposed, some expose themselves...

We stan!

Totally shameful attitude of the Abbasi chap. This is the sort of ignorant tribal attitude that still plagues Pakistani society .
