Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale are very much in the news.

The couple started dating soon after Davidson's very public break-up with singer Ariana Grande and have been spotted together at events and basketball games.

Speaking with the LA Times, the 45-year-old actor revealed that she's still getting used to the media attention after dating the Saturday Night Live star.

"I’m surprised by the interest. I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to."

She added, "I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."

The Underworld star said she'd "rather not have people hiding outside my house. It’s a little old fashioned to have a woman’s personal life [looked at like that]. It’s a little bit tired."

Pete and Ariana were engaged in June 2018 but broke up later in the fall. Following the break-up Pete was dealing with depression and going through a rough patch in life. Months later the actor was [first] seen with Kate at the Golden Globes after party, the two have since been seen together holding hands.
