The trailer for Saba Qamar's Bollywood debut is out!

Irrfan Khan took to his Facebook and shared the trailer for upcoming Hindi Medium alongside the Pakistani actor.

The plot follows the journey of two parents who want their daughter to get the education they could not afford to have. The trailer reveals the comical role of Saba Qamar and Irrfan as they do whatever it takes to get their daughter into a prestigious school.

While the trailer is full of comedy, we see some dark truths as Saba Qamar's character points out the double standards of society and being othered for not being able to speak fluent English.

Saba Qamar's Bollywood debut promises to deliver a powerful message about classism in India and its relation to the English language while staying on a considerable light note. The Digest writer actor pairs well with Irrfan, who is adorable to watch in the trailer, especially when he's dancing with children!

Hindi Medium is slated for release on May 12.

I will definitely watch this movie.. it looks awesome.. I often thought of this emerging issue when mediocre parents get into the hot water to make good opportunities for their children.. it causes severe problems because they put everything at stake for better future of their children..

Good trailer. Good concept. Irrfan is one the best. Saba Qamar is a much better actor than Mahira. And it's a full fledged role. It's a golden opportunity for her.

It would be great to see such a fine actor and actress in a single movie. Irfan Khan is an established actor renowned in both India and Pakistan but no many people in India know about Saba Qamar. She is not only gorgeous but undoubtedly the finest female actress among her contemporaries.

Childrens' education is the most important issue in the life of the parents. The film is very relevant to the subcontinent for progress and prosperity. Both Saba Qamar and Irrfan act beautifully and Pia is just wonderful. I would love to watch this movie.

Great Worth watching. First Mahira Khan now Saba Qamar. Irfan Khan has proved himself he is a star and Saba Qamar is a Pakistani super star. .Cant wait to see this film.

the most obvious thing is Saba has a role to play in the movie. it's quite evident that she has room to perform and probably she will leave a good mark as well. Mahira's debut in bollywood isn't next to anything. even though she worked against a big star she just didn't move any forward with her career. good choice saba.
