Priyanka Chopra’s Anomaly becomes 2nd most valuable celebrity beauty brand, surpassing Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez’s

Priyanka Chopra’s haircare brand Anomaly became the second most valuable celebrity beauty brand after it managed to surpass the profits of Kylie Cosmetics.

According to a report by Cosmetify, the actor and businesswoman reportedly made £429 million this year with her brand. She was behind Rihanna’s makeup and skincare brand Fenty Beauty, which managed to make £477 million, according to reports.

Following Chopra was Jenner who took third place with her Kylie Cosmetics. Brands by Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez ranked below Jenner’s.

The Baywatch actor began her haircare line in 2021, initially only in the US before expanding it to the Indian market last year. In her home country, her brand has achieved major success with it being available at Nykaa, an online beauty store in India.

“Nykaa on their platform has 4,000+ products, 450+ haircare brands and we’re in the top 10 in about three months. Anomaly comes from an ethos of Indian haircare. It is for the Indian consumer,” shared Chopra earlier with Business Today.

“It took us time to figure out and strategise on how to bring the brand to the Indian consumers and what the positioning should be. We launched about two years ago in America. The plan was always to come to India,” she added.

Winning an award from Allure in 2022, the brand has a variety of hair oils, shampoos, conditioners and other hair products. All of them are boasted to be chemical-free as well as vegan and sustainable.
