Meesha Shafi teases the release of her new song 'Hot Mango Chutney Sauce' and we can't wait to hear it

Singer Meesha Shafi's got her fans pretty excited. She recently took to social media to announce that she'll be releasing a new song in September. The singer has collaborated with quite the group of talented creatives to make this project happen.

Shafi — whose track list includes songs such as 'Sakal Ban' and 'Dasht e Tanhai' — made the announcement of her upcoming song on Instagram. "Hot mango chutney sauce," she wrote in the caption. "This isn't your average chutney."

The singer said the release date of the song is September 10 and asked her followers to mark the date.

She also tagged an assortment of prominent creatives in her post, many of whom posted about the upcoming song on their Instagram accounts as well. Model and actor Eman Suleman shared a video teaser of 'Hot Mango Chutney Sauce' on her feed. The Zindagi Tamasha starrer can be seen cutting up some chillies on a cutting board in the video.

Singer, songwriter and music producer Abdullah Siddiqui also posted about the song on his Instagram Story. "The new single by Meesha Shafi," he wrote. "Produced by me."

Other figures such as creative illustrator The Daft Draft, Baemisaal and — quite excitingly — Swineryy seem to involved in the project as well.

All this has definitely piqued our interest. Shafi's new song looks promising and we've definitely got our calendars marked.
