Momina Mustehsan reveals pale new look courtesy of Covid-19

Musician Momina Mustehsan has fallen victim to the novel coronavirus. The announcement came on Instagram, alongside a picture of her new Covid-19 struck look.

"No make up, no filter. Just Covid," read the story.

Mustehsan has been very vocal about the crises that have marred our lives in 2021. About the Palestine conflict, she shared a viral video of a 10-year-old girl, standing in the midst of the rubble that used to be her home, weeping out of the helplessness she feels for herself and her people.

She spoke of the video with reference to Anne Frank's diary. Anne Frank was a brave young victim of the Holocaust whose story gives people goosebumps. Of reading the young girl's bestselling diary from Nazi Germany, Mustehsan said, anyone who's read it "has cried, and to this day feel her pain and of all persecuted."

She quoted Frank as a reminder for the Israeli government, "What is done cannot be undone, but one can prevent it happening again.”

Pakistan is currently well into the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. So far, the country has reported 890,000 cases, with 804,000 recoveries and 19,987 deaths.
