Momina Mustehsan and Bilal Saeed's Punjabi single Baari was a refreshing treat for audiences who wanted to enjoy romantic rhythms and sweet melodies with their significant others.

It is no surprise then that the song, which was about creating doorways for love to enter one’s life where high walls had been constructed, has gathered over 100 million views on YouTube.

A Onetworecords production, the duo played a young couple but the video didn't clear up whether the two were partners or not. Saeed was seen visiting from abroad on his winter break, waiting to catch a glimpse of Mustehsan as she passes by on her way to college with her friends.

In an earlier interview with Images, Saeed called the song a ‘game changer’ for his career.

Thus, it was an unwelcome surprise for him when he heard it playing in an ad for SoKamal’s luxury pret unstitched collection, ‘Mahtaab’, without either of the two being informed that the song was being used by the brand.

“This song was such a hit that immediately after its release, that I got offers from an international record label that wanted to buy the rights to the song. I refused even though the offers were very lucrative," he said.

"To have refused those offers and then to have a brand from my own country simply pick up the song and use it, without even asking me, is a discredit to all the hard work that I had put in,” he had said about the incident.
