Kangana Ranaut tests positive for Covid-19, calls it a small time flu

The latest celebrity to test positive for Covid-19 — yet surprisingly not acknowledge the severity of the virus — is Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, who after being permanently banned from Twitter, used Instagram to announce the unfortunate news.

The Queen star confessed to feeling fatigue and weakness prior to getting herself tested, as she intended to travel to Himachal.

"I was feeling tired and weak with slight burning sensation in my eyes for past few days. Was hoping to go to Himachal so got my test done yesterday and today the result came. I am Covid positive," she announced.

Saying she was in quarantine, the actor then opened up about how the virus, despite her being in a country struggling to battle the pandemic, came as a surprise to her.

"I have quarantined myself. I had no idea this virus is having a party in my body. Now that I know I will demolish it. People please don’t give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more," she added, downplaying the severity of the situation.

"Come let’s destroy this Covid-19. It is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people. Har Har Mahadev," she said.

Coming from someone who recently advised those in critical condition and using oxygen cylinders to plant more trees as a way of returning their share of oxygen, we sure are speechless. Wishing the actor a speedy recovery.
